At Onar, every creation begins with expert craftsmanship and the skilled hands of our ateliers. Our raison d’être — and the heart of what we do — is to offer an alternative to fast fashion, synthetic materials, and garments made to last only a season. Each piece is made by second-generation shearling and leather artisans in Greece, where knowledge and technique have been passed down through generations.

We work exclusively with materials that are by-products of the food industry, honouring the natural qualities of shearling and leather. Rather than forcing uniformity, we allow the material to guide the process. This means every garment is shaped by intention, respect, and intuition — and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
In our Greek atelier, every Onar garment comes to life through a meticulous, entirely hand-crafted process guided by time, patience, and precision. Each hide is carefully selected for its texture and drape, then cut, assembled, dyed, and finished by hand.
Formed through decades of expertise and uncompromising attention to detail, each piece is created to endure for years and carry meaning across generations.
